Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions (Italy) S.r.l.
On October 1st, 2012, a new global player in the retail world began operations in Europe — including Italy. Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions (Italy) S.r.l. was born from IBM’s Retail Store Solutions (RSS) division, enabling IBM to expand into the Asian market and allowing Toshiba to acquire the products and know-how developed by Big Blue over many years of industry activity.
To support this, Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions (Italy) S.r.l. is committed to enhancing its Quality Management System in compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
The company conducts a contextual analysis of its operating environment, assessing risks and opportunities and implementing appropriate actions to address them, thereby defining a Management System that enables it to:
- Be attentive to customer needs and continually strive to improve customer satisfaction;
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and provisions, while adopting a socially responsible approach that contributes to the sustainability of the organization;
- Operate efficiently, with clearly defined and understood roles, responsibilities, and authorities;
- Pursue its established goals accordingly.
Management, fully aware that the Quality Management System is an effective tool for achieving its objectives, is committed to:
- Providing full support and allocating the necessary resources to ensure the system is always up to date and aligned with company and customer needs;
- Pursuing continuous improvement of the Quality Management System;
- Promoting a process-based approach;
- Communicating the Quality Policy throughout the organization and making it available to interested parties upon request;
- Reviewing and, when necessary, updating the Quality Policy.
